Few years ago, a friend of mine died of Cancer, that was a painful experience for me. As of my writing, I still couldn’t believe how cancer took away the State representative, possible individual destined to become future president of the United State of America. Additionally, I had a few friends that went through breast cancer in the past, that was extremely devastating to the entire family and friends. With these friends in mind, I started volunteering at the American Cancer society to find cure and treatment for this deadly disease.

When I was in Nigeria, I did not like religious people at all! I loved to party and drink alcohol on a regular basis. Actually, I always making fun of friends who proclaimed to be born again christians. I didn't want to listen to any bible teachings or any religious activities. Although, I used to call myself a Catholic, because I went to a Catholic high school when I was growing up. However, my behaviors and lifstyles were not aligned with the things of God. I moved from Reno, Nevada to Seattle Washington to start drinking and party with my friends.
Fortunately, God changed the whole plans. I got born again in April of 1994 at Christian Faith Center. I’ve been attending the same church since then. I have seen the moves of God in every key area of my life. For example, I gave up alcohol in 1996 without even trying to give it up. I had a lot of alcohol in my refridgerator, but I did not touch it for two years! That was God that delivered me from the alcohol bondage. Another amazing thing that God did in my life was His supernatural healing on my body. In August of 2005, I spent 2 weeks at the hospital, all the specialists, doctors, and nurses did a lot tests on me. No one could figure out what was wrong with me. I was sent home to die, but God had another plan for me. Few days after I was sent home, I was able to go to Wednesday service. In that service, Pastor Wendy Treat annointed me with oil. The following day, I got a call from one of the doctors that suggested that I should try a medication, this medication and the supernatural from God helped me to overcome the sickness. Praise God!!!
With these two major miracles in my life and some other minor ones, I have decided to dedicate my life to the things of God. At this point, there is no turning back. Currently, I’m one of the service pastors in our church. However, I’m not comfortable with my knowledge about the bible. My goal is learn more about the bible and be comfortable enough to teach people about the words of God.
