Christina Sutherland serves as Founder/President of the 2020 formed Realtist Network of Albany, Incorporated out of Albany, New York. She started RNA as a means of building a network of support for minority real estate professionals across the Capital Region eager to assist with closing the gap of homeownership in the black community. Christina has been a New York State licensed real estate salesperson since 2016. In addition to being a real estate professional, Christina is also a HUD-certified Housing Counselor with the Affordable Housing Partnership Homeownership Center. A non-profit organization that offers programs to promote successful affordable homeownership. Christina is very passionate about her work on all fronts of real estate and believes that everyone deserves the opportunity of homeownership. Prior to entering the Real Estate Industry, she served her community as a Human Service Professional dedicated to helping individuals and families in crisis for over 20 years. A graduate from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a BS in Sociology. Christina ’s education and previous work history has developed her passion for helping others and has fueled her drive to advocate for equal housing for all. A trusted professional, honest and genuine, Christina leaves lasting impressions on her clients, community, and the countless like-minded professionals she comes across. She is an expert in the home buying, selling, and leasing processes. She is especially empathetic to the needs of first time homebuyers. Very knowledgeable of local resources and down payment assistance programs. Christina resides in the suburbs of Clifton Park, New York with her two children.
