The highlight of this Summit will be the unveiling of NAREB’s 2021 State of Housing In Black America (SHIBA) Report; the foremost document on Homeownership among Black Americans. This report will look at the damaging effects of COVID-19, along with government and industry policies which have impacted home buying opportunities for Blacks.
The SHIBA report, in its 9th year of production, is produced by the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc.(NAREB), the oldest minority real estate trade association in America whose motto is “Democracy In Housing”. NAREB’s mission is to increase Black homeownership and provide Black Americans with an opportunity to achieve the American Dream through its 5-PILLARS OF BUILDING BLACK WEALTH THROUGH HOMEOWNERSHIP.
NAREB’s 2021 Black Homeownership Summit will bring together practitioners, stakeholders, government regulators, and elected officials to create strategies that increase homeownership opportunities for Black Americans. We look forward to seeing you!
