2010 REALTIST WEEK
April 5th - April 11th, 2010
"THE GIFT OF SERVICE"
|
|
Every year since NAREBs founding, we interrupt our normal business to observe, celebrate and acknowledge the true meaning of being a Realtist. Once again, we have that opportunity. As a national organization, we can visibly and actively project the importance of NAREB to each of the communities where we live and conduct business.
Our success depends upon every local chapter joining in the celebration by participating in REALTIST WEEK-2010, April 5th through April 11th and scheduling events that address the housing needs of your community.
Cheryl Dixon, a member of the Oakland County Real Estate Brokers Association and very active in the Detroit, MI community, is the Chairperson for the REALTIST WEEK-2010. She has worked hard to plan a schedule of events that highlights the important roles NAREB Realtists play in each of our communities.
The following events represent service and presents NAREB members as caring community citizens focusing on the needs of African-American and other minority homeowners, homebuyers, and anyone currently in economic distress. This year, more than ever before, we need to restore and serve our communities with integrity, trust and truth.
Take a moment to read the schedule and decide how your chapter can participate in REALTIST WEEK-2010.

Thank God for his blessings and life. Pray for our Country, its leaders, NAREB® and its leaders. Pray for Vincent Wimbish, our president, to keep the organization strong and affluent. Pray that we carry out our goals and stay on track with our mission. Pray for our partners and sponsors that we continue to grow together and provide great support in our industry.
Let your pastors know that you will be attending and request 5 - 10 minutes during your church service to introduce NAREB to the congregation. Distribute handouts and be available after service to talk with the congregation about membership and what NAREB does to assist the community
|
|
We want to make a noise in our communities, in our states, and at the national level. If you need assistance with generating publicity, let us know as soon as possible and we can assist you in how to generate media attention. We would like to highlight some of your events. Be sure to submit your schedule of events, dates, locations and times to your Regional Vice President and email to: narebnews@nareb.com. NO LATER THAN MARCH 20TH.
In closing, lets make this year the best observance of REALTIST WEEK yet. We have a lot to be proud of and more to share to help revitalize our communities and neighborhoods. |
