After attending college Matthew launched his career in the Real Estate Field in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served as Assistant Vice President of Approved Mortgage Corporation the largest Mortgage Brokerage in Indiana and was mentored by successful entrepreneur and Commercial Developer Derrick Christy. After serving in that capacity for several years Matthew left Indiana and moved to Louisville Kentucky to study under Clifford Turner another successful Developer here in Louisville. Matthew Harrell owns several small businesses all in varied aspects of Real Estate from Insurance to Development. Matthew has been involved with real estate investing and development for over 15 yrs.

Matthew currently serves as chair of Housing Committee for the African American Initiative; a policy think tank headed by Senator Gerald Neal. Matthew has severed as Vice President of the local board of National Association of Real Estate Brokers and was elected as the Regional Vice President responsible for both Ky. and Tenn. this year.
