Mitch Gibson is a Strategic Relationship Manager for the Bank of America Home Loans Neighborhood Lending group.

In this role, Gibson is responsible for the identification, negotiation, development, and performance management of strategic partnerships, including low-to-moderate income (LMI) and multicultural (MC) sponsorships and outreach strategies with National and Regional trade organizations, faith-based organizations, and affinity groups.
Prior to joining Neighborhood Lending, Gibson was owner/general manager of 1st Metropolitan Mortgage. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture, he was Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for the Commercial Bank within Bank of America.

He began his career as an auditor with the Treasury Department and then held various positions of increasing responsibility in the private sector with several Fortune 500 companies such as General Electric and Sara Lee.

Gibson is active in his community and serves on non-profits boards including past Board Chair of the University City YMCA and current Treasurer of 100 Black Men of Charlotte

He has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Furman University and an MBA from Winthrop University.
