Arlene has maintained a positive presence in the Philadelphia business industry. Reliance Realty offers residential, commercial, investment, property management, rentals and housing consultant services. In 2015 she became Regional Broker of rentals and Valuations in the MSA of Philadelphia, PA. for Altisource, Inc. Altisource is a national organization providing services and technology for the mortgage and real estate industries. In 2017 she was awarded contract with the Philadelphia Housing Authority to provide real estate and related services. The Philadelphia Housing Authority the largest housing agency in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and forth largest in the nation.
She is a HUD certified Property Manager, (PHM) and Accredit Resident Manager, (ARM) certified by the Institute of Real Estate Management, Inc and CPM candidate. She graduated from Temple University with bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies attended Temple University ‘s post graduate school of Housing Management Institute and Temple University’s Fox school of business and attended master’s program at Temple University in social Administration. She is a noted successful professional in Marques Who who’s of America women, Marquis Who’s Who in finance and Industry and Marques Who Who’s of Emerging Leader in America. In July of 2018, Arlene became a candidate for lifetime achievement award for marques who’s Who in America.
In 2014 Arlene Wayns–Thomas was installed in as the 36th President of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Board of Realtist, the local chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers., the oldest African American Trade Association in America, promoting democracy in housing. She has provided many years of services to the organization as Vice President and member of the Women’s Council. In July of 2018, was elected to the Board of Directors of the national Association of Real Estate Brokers as Regional Vice President of Region III.
