Diane Danzy Odell has worked as an Illinois licensed private practice attorney since 1994 with a concentration in the practice of real property law. Her practice includes buyer and seller representation for residential and commercial transactions, contract review and negotiation; land trust preparation, housing code violation litigation, commercial and residential lease review.
Attorney Odell has been a licensed real estate broker since 2001 and a managing broker since 2012. Ms. Odell is also a licensed educator and currently teaches at Columbia College Chicago.
Ms. Odell was educated at Concordia University, River Forest Illinois, and holds a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership. She received her Juris Doctorate from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago Kent College of Law. Ms. Odell also holds a Master of Health Science and Bachelor of Health Science from Governors State University, University Park, Illinois
Professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois State Board of Education, the American Speech Language & Hearing Association, The North Lawndale Cultural & Historical Society & Past President of the Dearborn Realtist Board, Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Odell enjoys teaching homebuyer education classes in underserved communities.
